Nice photo, a time classic. Any reason for the two pairs of goggles? Just an oversight maybe?

Hi Tony, yes it was. It was the 75 Hattah write up in Off Road Australia. I think it was Ray that wrote the story & he gave the event a real bagging.
He also wrote a test on a Kawasaki KS 125, written in Ray's typical style. This was just before ADB.

We had a little drink in Rays memory at CD6. We really miss the bugger, especially his trusty sidekick, Billy Forsyth.

I first met Ray whilst working for the WA Suzuki importer and distributor (Mortlocks) in the late 70's. At that time Ray was doing a bit of marketing and advertising consultancy for Mortlocks and I got to spend quite a bit of time with him including sharing a house for a time with Ray and a few others. Have many great memorys of Ray and those times. At that time he was also writing a column for REV'S which some of you might remember. Allround great guy to have and be around.

Yes. we all miss the man, as much as we do GE. But I think they would be pretty happy with the way things are running in the old dirt bike world,
D.

I think your right Drakie, he would be like what he sees, both with the custodians of VMX Mag and the continuing vibe displayed at CD6.
