BendigoMCC Vintage 3 hour enduro - Wedderburn 11/6/16

Hi all,

I'm in the final stages of getting the 2016 Bendigo Motorcycle Club Vintage Pre 92 Enduro sorted out.  This event will be held at Wedderburn Victoria on Saturday 11th June.

The Vintage Enduro is on the Saturday and on Sunday BMCC are running an 8 hour teams of 4 modern pony express,  riders are welcome to enter this event if they have any energy left after Saturday.

More information will be posted shortly, although the format will be similar to last years event, keeping with the rolling vintage 25 years it's now Pre 92.

Definitely a happy hunting ground for big bikes. Had my 200 pinned in top gear multiple times per lap last year...

That said, it was comfortably won by an 84/85 XR250.

I'd be keen to do this as a team, reckon my 99 WR200 could be considered a "flow on" model  They were around in 1991!!

Will the vintage enduro be the same as last year i.e. teams of 2, ironman, divided into classes, etc?

BMCC Vintage 3 hour Enduro    - Wedderburn Vic 11th june 2016

This event to be held on the Saturday and on Sunday BMCC are running their modern bike 8 hour enduro, so if your keen get a team of 4 together and enjoy another days riding or just watch and relax, details on the BMCC website for the 8 hour event.  www.bmcc.net.au
 
This event will run as a 3 hour Pony Express from 10.00am until 1.00pm (vintage rolling 25 years), Pre 92 and Pre 82 classes. The event is open to any configuration of off road bike rego or no rego. Enduro and Moto-X Bikes, at this event will ride in the same class, all bikes will run at the same time. Entrants have one bike each that must be from the same class period, although a bike from an earlier class is permitted to ride up a class. 

Pre 82 build date up to December 1981, pre 92 build date up to December 1991. If one bike brakes down, both riders can ride the remaining bike.

Single riders that wish to participate in the 3 hour Pony Express are welcome to attend and will be paired up with another rider.

Single riders that wish to go it alone can ride in the Ironman class.

There will be age classes, under 45 and 45 and over, this will apply to each category.

There is a non competitive event that will run for 5 hours from 10.00am until 3.00pm and this class will leave straight after the competitive riders, this class will bypass the check point. 

Start – Le Mans start, starting area is wide.

During – Tickets to be punched at a check point at the start/ finish area.

Finish – Flag comes down on 3 hours (1.00pm). Winner is then determined on lead rider with most laps and best time on final lap. Due to the track being open competitors are welcome to continue riding until 3.00pm at there own leisure (non competitive).

Transponders will not be used, a tag system will be attached to the handle bars for laps completed.
Entry fees

•   Competitive single day MA licence $55 + $35 entry total $90
•   Non-competitive single day MA licence $25 + $35 entry total $60
•   If you hold a current MA licence, entry is only $35 

Camping is permitted on the Friday, Saturday and Sunday nights and is highly recommended, great yarns and tall stories to be shared.

Toilet facilities will be on site, NO showering facilities.

A canteen will be open on Saturday and Sunday.

Approx 6 weeks to go until this event in Wedderburn VIC. It's only $60 for a 5 hour vinduro or $90 if you want to test the old body and machine in the pony express (only $35 if you have a ma licence). Damn good value.
Time to give the old pre82 or pre92 a once over.

This is BendigoMCC second vintage enduro at wedderburn and with support it will continue. No bullsh*t, reasonable cost and a great track for old bikes.
Keep in mind you can camp and watch the moderns on Sunday.
