Is Why I missed out this year from Sant ...

I doubt that would be the reason. Maybe you need to look back and see if you were well behaved all year. Remember Santa only comes to the GOOD little boys and girls  :)

I like the café look

Normally I am not a big fan of the whole café style but admittedly there are some that really come up nice.

Hmmm, What should I buy next?
In case you were wondering it was an 85' CR250R. Then a 76' DT250 and a 01' XR250 and it didn't stop there

Here's some picks from an overnight adventure ride I did last year that I thought might be interesting.

My trusty DRz

A couple of the guys crossing the Murray river at Tom Groggin

Here's one way to cool off your BMW

And after a refreshing dip it was off again

And here's a way to dry out your boots afterwards

I andering how you go about dewatering a beemer? would be a task I wouldn't want to face late in the arvo in a mountain scenario while dripping wet

Fortunately he was very lucky and we didn't have to de-water it. Not sure if the Beamers are the same but my Tiger 800XC has a tilt switch in it that shuts it off if it falls over. Also there was quite a few 4x4's waiting at the crossing so a few people ran in pretty quickly to help out. But after that little incident seeing as a few of the guys already had wet feet the next bike through got a personal escort.

Will dig out some more photo's from my Adventure rides when I get a chance but in the meantime I have been shopping again today and as a result it looks like my much loved little XR250R might have to move on to a new home to help fund and also make room for this  ;)

89' XR600R

After digging through some of my spares I found the correct colour front guard for it and although the seat cover is in pretty good nick I would like to change it back to the original style eventually.

Have had a lot going on with work at the moment but fortunately I managed to find the time to take the kids out for a ride on Australia day and that also gave me the opportunity to test out 2 of my most recent bike purchases, the 01' XR250R and the 89' XR600R and they both performed brilliantly.  ;D

The later 01' model 250 (LHS in Pic) was perfect for dinking the kids around on and the old 89' 600 which I believe is actually a 620 now was perfect for riding on the back wheel and I can't wait to take it to my next Vinduro which will be at Nimmitabel in mid March :evil

And as always Bianca had a ball on her little JR50

A couple of weekends ago the Albury Wodonga Motorcycle Enthusiasts Club had their annual bike show at the Wicked Virgin in Rutherglen and as a member of the club I would normally show some of my bikes as well but I had family commitments this year so didn't have the time to spare. However I did manage to drop in for a look and it was quite a good turn out. Was a great mix of older and newer bikes on display  ;D

Here's a pic of my young bloke with the Tiger in the morning on our way down to Mulwala for a Cub activity

And here is some from the show

Was going through a few of my older pics and came across these from my trip to the 2012 KLRR (KLR Rally) in the Flinders Ranges which was an awesome 5 day ride and ventured through some fantastic scenery so thought they were worth sharing.

If you are interested there are plenty more where that came from ;)

Took the Kids out riding today and finally managed to get Jennifer to start riding on her own (2 years after her Twin sister) on a PW50 that i did up recently and once she started the only thing that stopped her was when it finally ran out of Fuel and it had already been topped up once.  :) Also it was the first proper outing for the 01' XR250 that I bought after selling the postie and AG200's that we used to use and after setting it up for riding with the kids it did the job perfectly while still allowing me to have some fun.
Here's a few Pics

Was great watching the Girls ride around together

Jen waiting patiently for Fuel which came courtesy of a 20ltr Jerry in my lap on the XR. Also pictured is Kel who was having a ball on the old XT200 .

And here is the XR, Funny to think it started out as an old postie
:hmmmmm

That is a really good question as it is before my time I am not sure what it was but now I might have to try and find out or if anyone else knows please fill us in.

Actually now that I think of it I did a ride report for that trip. The report can be found here along with more pictures from the trip :)

I think that the old bike is a model H Triumph but could be wrong on the model and I would think about 1914/16 and looks very nice.
