Example :
48mm KYB's with the axle lug's removed set me back $309.00 + $27.27 for FRT + GST of $33.64 comes to a grand total of $370.00 .
Shock shaft will come in at $100.00

Had my 73 YZ250A tubes done back 2007 by SA Hardchrome with an all up total of $300.00

Hope this helps
Rob.

Thanks for that Rob,

I had a shock shaft done by the Hardchromers down here in the Illawarra. He told me straight up it will be 150. Thats what he charged and the job was like it was a new shaft, it may well be better than a new shaft for all I know but it hasnt done much work yet since I put it back into a shock.
After that price I was frightened to get a price for fork tubes.  :o :o

I sent my Rickman forks (Betor) off to a hydraulic cylinder refurbisher. They hard chrome and do centerless grinding all the time. I think (it was back in 2000) $300 for the pair. The finish wasn't the usual high-shine chrome, but a proper ground shaft finish. There should be lots of them in a mining town like Perth.
