May have sidecover. Are they the same as 250 of the same year? No guards though.

On the hunt for a XR 250R 1982 rear guard for a local old guy who is rebuilding or restoring one as far as i can tell from his phone call.

HE is adament its a big long reg guard not unlike a front guard.  its the first prolink model or somthing and all the model after it where short ones.  I had the 84 and 85 model and i remember them as being sort of square > he seems to think these ones are long and rounder.

I have nor idea but do you have one ?

part number stamped on the underneath is 80100-mao-0000

PRobly. i had a riding mate who had one of those and it seemd really skinny and had weird forks compared to the Blue seat model i had, thats all i remember, if thats an 82, i guess thats the rear then.
