Thought I would share my Ts185 build.

My first real bike when I was a young fella was an early ts185, since then I moved from it175's rm250's a TT600, then an XT600.

From the XT I which I rode on the road, I moved to road bikes and have ridden almost everyday ever since.

12 months ago, I was slightly intoxicated and seen a Ts185 on eBay like the one I had as a kid, the rest is history.

So , I got it going, only took an hour.

Did the usual, cleaned the carby and tidyed the wiring. It ran!

Worked out what what I had. It ran though all gear perfectly and rode well.

The kids, 4 boys nicknamed it the zombie bike, apparently if a zombie rode a bike, this is what it would look like. The wife thought I was crazy also.

I started with the tank. I removed the only large dent with a soccer ball bladder, I squashed it in there, and inflated it, and it popped right out.

Then I made a exhaust guard from aluminum, as I hated the tacky original one.

I also replaced the rear guard with a Tm125 item, and replaced the seat with a new unit, as the old one was week and truly gone.

Next was painting the tank.

I did it in 2pac, using stencils for the stripe and Suzuki logo. First attempt at this, but I am happy with the result.

They are a great bike, my late bro also had one of them for his first
Practically bullet-prooof.
Dam cheap to register too and great vinduro fun as well

Then I turned my attention to the wheels. A mate of mine had an old Ke175, he said I can have, I can't say no to anything related to motorcycles, so I dragged it home to my wife's displeasure.

It had the right size rims, but in alloy, perfect. So I set about cleaning, rebuilding and relacing my rims.

An easy job, but so tedious.

Next is where I am at.

I striped the frame, and painted it in 2 pac.

I also replaced the pegs with 1989 rm80 pegs, they are a direct replacement.

I am just a reformed obsessive compulsive, or trying to be anyways(reformed).

Uuuummmh, I know the pain

I have several KE125's so I will stick with them, Maybe some one else here might want the bones of the 175
I have a feeling Lozza wouldn't mind the 175 engine.
