Cool. A mini sized dinosaur. You wouldn't have any problems with rats or cats with him around. Just need to remove anything breakable from the shed!

A mate had a good sized python in his shed, he didn't bother it and it didn't bother him.....worked for both of them....no rats, mice, just the occasional heart flutter when he stumbled across it...... 8)

Looks like that would have been fun!
Who chased who out of the shed?

Had a 3'-4' black snake in the workshop a few years back, production came to a quick halt.
Took me several nervous days to catch him.

Had a good summer this year, only nearly stood on 2 snakes while walking between house and workshop :o

When I was working on an outback NSW station a few years back, near misses with snakes was a regular occurrence. And they were the big brown nasty types as well. It got so bad in summer because of all the animal feed and water we had around attracting the nasties, I ended up wearing my Tech 6's around while working. It was a much safer option as the nearest medical help was a 45 minute drive away and a King Brown bite starts with convulsions and muscle cramps at around 5 minutes and blindness by 10. I think the one that startled me the most was when I jumped on my XR600 and started it, when a Brownie snaked it's way out from between the carb and crankcase.....I jumped off real quick.
I did have a huge Goanna as a regular visitor to my dogs food. He was about 5 foot long. The dogs didn't even bother barking at it incase they were next on the menu!

I'd like to borrow him if that's OK! ;)

I have a pair of possums who were born in my shed and now they believe that it's theirs.
They were pretty cute when little, but now they're large and a formidable team.

They harass the cats and steal their food, and only show a "what-ever" attitude to humans.

I built a multi-strand electric fence to stop them climbing over the top of the roller doors.
That worked for about 12 months.

With the wet weather we have been having lately, they're back inside.
Unless I actually lock the roller doors down, they have figured out how to lift them up enough to slip underneath.
(I even suspect they might be pushing them back down, to cover their crime.)

They got locked in there for a week while I was out of town and ripped up the place looking for a way out.
By the look of the poos, they lived on grease & oil. (That's how I realised, they were back,)

I appear to have bred large, strong, clever, fearless possums, with a taste for meat. (Scary)
A big goanna might give them a good stir-up, but they also know where all the sharp & pointy tools are!
I hate to think what the shed would look like by the end.

Cheers, Daryl.

our local hire joint has "traps"..sometimes councils have traps as well. put something tasty in it, watch out the little f&*ckers bite and scratch incredibly well!

let em out at your most non favourites persons house about 5 in the morning... they will look after them for  while...:)

Ha, I'm going to try harder to keep my eyes open.
It was around Xmas and I had a guy on the phone talking about swingarm lengths and I said "hey, I have one parked outside" (I move them outside in the mornings)
I was walking out to it and was just bending down with tape measure in hand and phone in the other hand when I realized the bugger was right at my feet, one more step and I would have been on him. Luckily he was just as surprised as me and we both turned and fled with me using quite a few choice words repeatedly.
Poor guy on the phone must have been wondering what sort of customer service GMC gives out, when my pulse rate returned to normal I had to back track and convince the guy I wasn't swearing at him.
I attacked a few garden hoses in the following days ;D, don't know why they make hoses with the reinforcement looking the same as snake skin!
