can you suzuki guys with zedder please give me the 70-77 titan T500 suzuki crank bearing numbers and what the swaps are please.

Just did one of those cranks a couple of months ago and from memory they are an unusal size bearing that was Suzuki only. Other funny thing is the center bearings are open into the gearbox for lubrication with a Suzuki only seal either side. Sorry that doesn't help you much does it.

Measure the bearing size. Several motorcycle parts wholesalers such as Link and Cykel sell the odd size engine/wheel bearings found in many bikes that are not easily obtainable through your local bearing and seal shops and are not a common industrial size sold by SKF or Nachi etc.

I don't think it's so much an odd size but more like an odd design. They have a metal retaining ring fitted. This is what makes them soooo 'special'

Ok real special one! I did a full resto on one of these 5 or 6 years ago but i can not remember what the solution was. I think the customer may have supplied NOS bearings he found years ago

OK cool, im trying to fix a crank for a 70+ old chap who parked this thing cause he was told the crank bearing dont exsist.  which i found hard to believe but thought id ask what solutions there are on the wider horizon.  He wants to have one more ride on the thing so i said let me see if i can find some and get this thing going again.

Surely in this age nothing is unobtainable, even the china will remake bearing for you to spec, and im sure suzuki also have a parts line running again to order. cant believe there isnt a swap or solution out there already.

Sometimes sleeves can be fitted to stock type bearings and holes drilled for dowels. I have done this type of work in the past but would need the old bearings for sizing before I can advise if possible. If you are desperate I can check with the guy I did the crankwork for to see if he still has the old ones or is the crank already stripped.
