Pe 250-400 T/X  share the same base.  The front rail bracket is a universal fit .... drill out rivets and refit  ;)

Are you sure that the PE seat base is the same as RM400T? I thought the PE has a longer tank and shorter seat. (maybe an optical illusion)

I would like to be wrong on this as that would suggest that the RM seat foam would be the same as the PE.  RM250/400T seat foam is available but I cannot find a seat foam listing for PE250T anywhere.

If this is a fact that the RM and PE seat bases are the same please let me know!

Cheers Jason

Read the second sentence ..... if it's a Pe seat base you will see  a hole each side in the front of bracket . Rm are brought forward and a hole will be at the back.

Seat foam and covers are different in shape

OK, so apart from the position of the forward bracket the base is the same part, yes?

So has anyone tried to fit a RM seat foam to PE? Does the foam have the same "Footprint" on the base, anyone know?

Is it a matter of reshaping the top sides front and back slightly to achieve the same contour as the genuine PE foam.

Great news, can you also tell me if the rear seat bracket is the same for RM and PE?

Does the RM have the hook on the left and a full bolt circle on the right like the PE? The frame looks very similar except for the rear loop area on the face of things.
