marks swapmeet no show

I have reverted to the IP address lookup and email request, through absolute frustration.

As someone who works in the IT industry I have to call bullshit on Marks (or who ever owns the site) website hosting provider.

They are either inbreds who are ultra... Conservative or something very dodgy is going on with their business model or technical imfrastructure and they are making up bull shit for limiting traffic to his site.

A so called Linux vulnerability, while incredibly rare (unless Bill gates has brought them) and unlikely should be ok if they have a basic firewall and DMZ in place. Something that your average Australian small business has folks.

Again If mark is reading this then I sincerely suggest you quickly change host and open the site back up to the rest of the world.... Before the whole thing falls over and before you go crazy with email requests...

Well I see my e-mail with my IP address that I sent to Mark has bounced back as...

Trying to view the site gets the same old story...

Yep, my email bounced back today too, with the same error. Looks like AUS is off-line for Marks now.

Just checked out all the items for sale for 17/11/2014 no problem from here in Perth.  Im not logged into their site.. just viewing as a visitor.  Perhaps if you stay logged out and clear your cookies etc.. you can have a good peek at whats for sale, then phone if you really need something.

Yep - still no luck getting on - and have just reformatted and reloaded my OS as well because it was needed (in case there were any nasties there anyway).  Bit pissed as I was one of the guys that contributed to the new server setup and now can't get on!!

Just type into google "free proxy server "-
then select a site- and then type in the web address www.vintagemx.us/ into the area in the proxy server site, and you will then be able to get on to marks site website men.

Rosco its all those lady boy websites you frequent causing you to be blocked !!!

It's not a matter of logging in or out, the page just won't load to be able to look at anything.
Can't be forked going through proxy servers or whatever, it's a web page, you type in the address and then look at it.

I suspect that those that can get the site maybe have an ISP that has US connections

I did the poxy server thingamajig today and it worked, don't know if I have to go through it everytime, I emailed Mark last week and nothing come of it. The US economy will go bankrupt within 6 months without the Australasian billionaire VMXers not buying.....they will be jumping out of buildings in Wall St like the 1920's all over again.

I went through the proxy server as Craigy advised - then saved as a shortcut - so now it is no different than how I got there previously - don't know the difference and don't worry about the proxy server thingy Geoff.
