Tex- If you're on a Husky, that's probably a good idea anyway.

ill take your advice tex and go the long way, I hate wet feet! ;D

My Husky had no problems going through the creek flat out in 2012  ;D ;D

The old girl fired her first shot in anger today since I pulled the barrel off her over 12 months ago  :) :)
It was bloody hard to kick start it standing on 3 spare car wheels, while it was still strapped to a work bench on a centre stand with no wheels in it.
But I was determined to make sure it would start before i headed off to bed.

See ya at Harrow, travel safe.
Thanks Dewy.

P.S.
It would be nice to be taking home the 2014 version of these dust collectors, after I missed out on riding Harrow Vinduro last year  :P :P

Jeez, that sounds like a recipe for a nasty accident (and potentially funny home video).

Lotsa people leaving tonight or early tomorrow Mr Wombat - aiming to get the good camping spots I suppose. Bastids! Some people have to work Fridays. :(

Looking good on the number of entries too - looks like the rego 'hassle' hasn't been such a hassle after all! :)

So, I wonder who's gonna win the KDX? Should be a spirited dinner Saturday. :D

A note about recreational registration and the 2014 Harrow 100...

As was recently announced, bikes with Victorian recreational registration will be allowed to take part in the 2014 Harrow 100.

Some have questioned, or commented upon, the late timing of this announcement.

The fact is that VERi have been negotiating with VicRoads to achieve this outcome for some time, with no guaranteed result at the end. One committee member in particular has give up a significant amount of his own time to pursue this. As most could imagine, negotiating with governmental bureaucracies can take time, and we did not want to make an announcement until we were sure we could proceed.

If we could’ve announced this a month ago we would have.

Yes, this development has probably come too late for most, but we figured if we could assist just one person then it was worth it.

If we’re able to offer this option at future events, hopefully we’ll be able to do so well before the event.
