Montesa kickers must be a bit of a Monty weakness - I've got one damaged one and the ones on EvilPay are always hotly contested.

Whatcha reckon this one is? I reckon AT?CT1.

You'll lose Ross. Definitely not off a Cota. Looks like a DT1 kickstart

I'll take that back Tim. When you look at the long shot it might be DT/RT1. The first angle looking down seems to shorten the kicker.

This is all good news, I've got at least one RT1 kicker and I think at least one other maybe two.

Swively bit on top is the same as any other Cappra/Cota kicker. In the pic posted above it's very different.

You mob got me thinking, the Cota 247/348/349 (up to the white wonders) kickers were the same as the Cappras (swivel at the top, mushroom around the shaft, see pic http://solomontesa.com/tienda/images/palaarranmonp_69.jpg). The last 349 was different. The whole kicker swiveled from the splines, no mushroom. The Cota 350 (last 349 with red mudguards) was the same. I can't remember the Cota 330/335 kicker but I'd assume the same as the 350. The 123/172/200/242/304/307/309/310's (same bottom end as the 125 Cappra) would have used the same as the Cappra 125. Swivel at the top, but a slight kink just above the splines leading to 45deg angle and no mushroom.

I'm no expert on Cappras but I do know my Cotas having owned a few.

Jeezus. I need to ge a life.

This is the same bike that was advertised in the for sale section a few months back. The owner had not started it at the point, although explained that he was told the motor was good. The ebay description is still sought of ambiguous in that it doesn't really state how the bike runs & rides. Looks like a decent bike with a few minor glitches as usual with old bikes, no doubt it could tell some stories if it could talk. I hope it goes to a good home.
Cheers,
K

This orphanage is full ;D.

He would have been popular with his neighbours starting that bike at anytime - I bet it has a good crackle to it ::) :P.

It will be interesting to see if it sells - I think its over the market. But there's one way to find out for sure ;D.

I'd say its definitely Yam, but not sure what model. (I would have thot small-bore not DT/RT1 which had larger shaft) It looks at first like a Monty one but its not. The spring under the fold-out part is a dead give-away for Yamahe (or at least japanese)
