Admitting your addicted is half the battle.
« on: April 16, 2014, 08:10:53 am »
I've gone and bought another one and I don't feel ashamed at all. I feel like a kid in a lolly shop sometimes when I see a 185, I just have to have it and besides, I didn't have a 72 tank. :o
Now the hard part of slotting it in next to the collection but the worst bit is, she oh so short and cute and cranky can count.
This time, after hiding a spare frame behind the pump shed, I am going to plead its a new build from all the parts I have even though the racks still look just as full as before. 8)

How do you guys  slip another bike in without the minister of fun finding out and subsequently rationing all that you hold in wonder? ::)

Your biggest mistake is/was to let her out of the kitchen.....have a total shed rearrange and that will stuff her up......or, "it's a mate's bike that I'm just looking after"....LOL.

Just put different race numbers on new acquisitions

Therefore they become " I'm just storing a mates bike He's renovating "

I recently agreed with the wife to borrow for a swimming pool and deck (which I would build).  This drawndown on the loan money was to pay for an ebay bought rmz450 - to motivate me to work all those weekends.  I had an instinct she'd be sweet with that and she was.

Its all in the timing.

You both need expensive hobbies, that way no one can point an accusing finger at the other.  :)

Works for me.

cheers,

When I actually start putting the bikes together that I have in boxes and she can actually see the completed bikes, the plan is to sooth her with diamond jewellery  8)   Well, that's the plan anyway...

I must be doing something wrong. I get nervous telling her the parts I bought on ebay have finally arrived from the states.  Giving her two glasses of shiraz first seems to take the edge off the parts but a whole bike is another issue entirely.
If only the bikes were falcon GTHO's and I could say its for our retirement fund.

Shane don't undersell the mighty TS 185 mate  ;) its just lucky for us that we are visionaries' and have got in on the TS 185 action at ground level before the rest of the world realises and the values sky rocket  ;D

LMAO Bill. The surgeon at work hangover and all. I hope your right mate. catch up with you next your over this side of the ditch.

If anyone would know about an addiction it would be you Tim. Playing with single cylinders in the dirt is crazy enough but 4 of them at the same time is just compounding the issue.
