How are they expected to do anything when they are swanning around at Phillip Island Superbikes all last weekend.Hang on, that's work isn't it 8)

Wonder how many we'll get to the PCMX at Toowoomba. I'll bet they are chomping at the bit to be there to hand out free piss all Saturday night.

That's exactly the explanation I was given, this morning, for the Event's person not being in the office.
Why am I getting that sinking feeling again ??

No, not yet Firko.
After speaking to the Events person yesterday, asking the pertinent questions, and being told " Not me ", I was transferred to another person, who told me " This has been going back and forth between the CDT/MX commission and the MA board for months ",  asked when would info be forthcoming ?, I was told " The end of the week, maybe".

That's been the same story for the last few years, it seems they don't take us seriously which is disappointing. >:(

Yes it is disappointing Slides,
I don't ride anymore so maybe I should stay out of this .
Maybe a few of the top clubs/tracks eg. Griffith, Temora, West Wyalong etc. could get together and run
something along the lines of the CIG. GOLDEN WHEELS of yesteryear which was held in high regard.
Drop the AUST. TITLE  tag and you get rid of a lot bullshit from those who are supposed to help. Also  more of the proceeds go to each club rather than you know who. A couple of PREMIER CLASSIC  DIRT TRACK meetings each year on the best tracks available run by clubs that know would be better than the great unknown which is what you have at the moment.
I might add that I have offered one of my bikes to somebody to ride if something is finally decided upon
so I am involved in a way.
regards  Mark
ps.chuck in Broadford as well!!

Sometimes I wonder if we can't  organise an event with a big title ring that could double as a proxy Aussie title. Call it the Golden Steel Shoe or Hemet Or Wheel. Really, isn't it about getting all and sundry to the biggest meeting of the year and have a hoot of a weekend. The Aussie title status means it costs a heap more and brings out all the MA drama. That way we could control our own destiny. Call it ACD...... Aussie Classic Dirt track, have a non competitive ride day on the Saturday, show and shine and the big race day on Sunday.
