RM465 ?
« on: December 09, 2013, 10:20:11 am »
I started racing VMX last year on a RM250 T and quite like it. I want to get a 2nd bike so I get more track time at meetings. From what I have seen it is not uncommon for race organisers to run the 250 evos together with the 250 linkers or open evos. So if I get a 465 linker I should be safe from missing out because of mixed classes. I had a 250 X in 1982 and liked it. Is there anything I should know about 465s before I spend money, unobtainable parts? hard to fix stuff ?
Thanks

RM465's are way better than RM 500's for parts-I belive that rods are still available (unlike RM 500's) -gears are getting harder to find but apart from that they are pretty damn good for parts.

RM500 conrods are still about, i have a new one! Not for sale though, or at least if it did it would be a LOT of money and would come with a complete RM500 as a spare!!
