Mark I was thinking the power unit is the key in Dirttrack over the chassis
Especially the way I suggested in those early posts
Once we get support then we can make things cleaner.
right now I would be happy to see 2 classes
I see your point Graeme but you'd be up shit creek according to MoMs if you wanted to race this bike in
vintage here in Oz and even in the USA where you'd need a traditional style twin shock frame. The CCM frame misses all the cut offs for the various divisions
in our rules but it'd be fine for modern.....which is a shame because of the vintage TT500 engine. If you wanted to ride in modern why not have the best technology by using a YZ450F motor or even a Rotax. And that's not mentioning the need for a front brake here.
The Goodyear tyres are now Dunlop k180's as far as I no same look pretty sure there made in the USA to
Yeah, I realise that you can still get that tread pattern in Dunlop and even Maxxis and Golden Tyre....my point is the age of the Goodyear tyres on that bike indicating its possible lack of use for a few years.
