 ;D he, he, he,plausible ;D ;D ;D ;D ;D but way to early.

I understand if is deleted because of something wanted that has been found, or something that has been sold.

But it is a pissoff when it is information, ideas, considerable opinions and otherwise, that's for sure.

I wont be contributing opinion or otherwise to Dave#6 threads anymore for that very reason,
unless I choose to use it as a chat room ;D

I'm disappointed too. I even found and engine supplier.

While Rotax do still make engines there is nothing feasible. The only 2 strokes are 125cc kart engines.

However there is a manufacturer in Germany. Who will sell you not only a 250, but a 320, 500, 620 or 685 water cooled 2 stroke engine.

Check this out.

I may have been wrong about the company now making Maico. With the popularity of the KTM 300s maybe a 320 wouldn't be a bad bike.

I was the last poster so I hope I didn't destroy John's dream with my "it won't work" post. Sadly, someone had to do it. I too hate it when posts go missing. Walter used to be the thread removal champ at it but Dave's catching up.

I removed the thread, was not getting any constructive help, didn't want to waste anyones time, figured I'd just continue investigations quietly.
