Nope, other than a half dozen red bulls annually I've not joined the cult. You might be interested to know that new laws have been passed in the US regarding energy drink brand saturation on kids and adults motorcycle apparel and protective gear. Because of some kids drinking the stuff to the point of near or looming death, Monster Energy, Rockstar and Red Bull branding will no longer appear on ANY riding gear, helmets, boots etc on 2014 product lines in any country. You'll notice that the colors of each brand are still used by some manufactures in a vein attempt to satisfy the customers brainwashed by the marketing BUT you'll not see the brand names anywhere. AWESOME!!  :D
THE SEXMAX.....coming soon to an Evo race near you!!! Lining up right along side the soon to be released TEDMAX!!!

As a non-caffeine drinker, these really work for me - including lying awake at 5am after already being awake for 24 hours...

As they say in the classics: fork that shit.

The major ingredient in them is a "Taurine"

"Taurine" along with "pseudoephedrine" are the major ingredients that make up the drug "speed"

I'm sure you can make a rash decision on that evidence:)

I have a theory that energy drinks mixed with alcohol (Vodka and Red Bull for one) are a major contributor to the rise in late night/early morning club and pub violence. Mix that again with ecstasy and other party drugs and you've got a room full of bad ju ju. I picked up this theory observing some early twenty year old girls partying on this concoction and it all ended ugly with them getting into an all in blue amongst themselves. Funnily enough the ones that were drinking wine or non energy drink cocktails instead of Red Bull and Vodka were pissed but in no way aggressive and actually helped break up the fight before it got really ugly. I've thrown my theory at a few young people from the same circle of friends and they reckon there might be something to my theory.

Catalyst really shows their impact on a person and its ugly. 2 red bulls and your blood becomes much thicker, sets off cardio issues like 240 volts and also creates blood vessel problems hours after consumption...beware.

Yeah saw that article on catalyst. Not that I drink the stuff but one of the fellas in question was drinking these drinks to stay awake at work and now due to the side effects and damage to his heart he can't work at all. It was pretty scary the footage they showed of a real heart going into cardiac arrest. And to think todays young kids are getting high on these drinks and mixes, real scary indeed.
Let's face it some dirt bikes were never meant to be ridden.

Once again its all about the marketing, but there must be a sh;t load of money in it given the amount of sponsorship by red bull, monster etc.  I think you can even buy enery soft drinks now, mountain dew I think.

I don't drink them, never have (taste like shite) and will not let my kids drink them.

I share Marks theory no wonder there's so much violence at night in town one of the apprentice got me a red bull and vodka I was buzzing for hours and I only had one they had heaps more than that , should be banned from night club venues would like to see the stats on violence after the ban bet they would go down

I suppose the govt will start to tax them like beer and cigarettes, but it probably wont reduce consumption, just increase govt revenue
