The Americans got some sort of stripped down, rebadged monoshock DT175 - I think it was called the DT175MX or something.

But otherwise Bill is right - the MX125C was the last of them.

I think Bill's pommy brothers started calling DT's, MX's in the late 70's, early 80's.....they had headlights and where road registerable.

Here in the states the last MX model that was competitive was the MX125C pictured above which is my bike. The later ones we got were for beginners and children.

Here's a pic of a breathed on MX125C. The owner LR Watkins worked for FMF and it had the down pipe, porky head, and porting that were all FMF. He saw the photo's of mine and got a hold of me. My bike brought back memories for him.

Personally I thought the MXC was the prettiest of the Yamaha's. I may be biased though.

I used to ride with a guy who had one I thought it was a D model but I remember it looked like the pic above. These are not common then or hard to find?

G'day guys,
Have just listed MX125 A and MX125 C sales brochures and a heap more scheduled to start at about 6.00pm for auction on ebay if you are at all interested.

The MX-C is a rare bike, simply because they didn't sell many. I know of three confirmed examples in Australia.

That comes up as an auction for a MX 125B brochure not a C  ???

Sorry no OW parts i know of .
