Apparently CPMCC only have 28 entries for this event as of yesterday.

C'mon all you HEAVEN members this should be a really good weekend event, plenty of merriment & bench racing on Saturday night for those camping at the track, and you don't even have to buy a new rear tyre !!!

Bugger, I am stuck in Xian in China and won't be back for the meeting. The only silver lining to this dark cloud is that I can pick up a couple of Chinese Metisses while I am here ;D ;D

Bugger, I was going to ask if you wanted to ride my little red 360 flat tracker Pete.....oh well, instead pick me up a couple of those tasty Chikmans while you're there. I'll fix you up when you get back ;).

Dave, Nice SC, the front tyre... Do you believe that is the best choice of tyre for DT - nepean on a non rainy day, I can only assume by the block pattern, it is a very soft tyre like the michy's that we use on the back. Is it a 21 inch and what make is it...
Cheers Brett

Whoa, no, not Chinese mistresses Brett. There was (maybe still is) a corksucker on this forum named Cheapracer who works in China and had grand plans of building Metisse copies. Big ideas, small brain. Do a search for either his name or Chinese Metisse and all will be revealed. Never amounted to anything more than a vehicle for his own narcissistic personality,
Pete.

Hi Brett
It's funny, I was with Matcho Mick and Jim today, and I mentioned to them I'm a little apprehensive about the front tyre at the NON OIL NEPEAN track.
I'm hoping the fact that it is a 21", 2 PLY Mitas tyre, will give me enough grip.
The last time I rode Nepean ( 1979 ), it was an oil track.
It's all good fun........... ;D

I rode the SC 500 for the first time today, and the first time on a race track since 1979, at Somersby...........the 21"Mitas 2 ply front tyre worked GREAT and the 2 ply rear was GREAT also....... 8)

Hey Dave, any reason you did not go to STg at Nepean today?
