Eight was great, now what.....nine will be fine?......10......mmmm...it's getting boring, maybe we should just give them a trophy to keep them happy.

Sadly....as long as Qld have players of the calibre of Smith, Slater, Cronk and Thurston and NSW don't it'll remain a Queensland dominated series. It's freakish that these four players (plus big Greg Inglis) are playing at the same time in history. Unsually you get one great player or maybe two per era, like Wally Lewis and Alan Langer but to have five greats that are good enough to be considered 'Imortals' playing in the same side is amazing. It was a good close game last night but remember that Greg Inglis was a limping passenger for most of the game so it could have been worse for NSW. On the other side, NSW played their hearts out, McManus on the wing was terrific as were the forwards. I think it's time to try either of the (no relation) Reynolds boys at halfback Adam from Souths or Josh from Canterbury are both now better halfbacks than Pearce. Bring on next year ::)..................Go the Big Link Wallabies ;).

The Qld team could possibly be one of the greatest sporting teams ever. NSW learned this year how to win a game but not a series, might take another 2 years of keeping the current NSW team,to realise they can win a series.

Ah, I thought it was just me...I've never seen Pearce do anything exceptional, especially under pressure, and he stood out as underqualified more so than usual last night : also Qld hammered Maloney in game 2 yet he was selected again, and again came up just short when it mattered. With a better ball supply to the backline, coulda woulda shoulda etc. Bottom line is, once again Qld wanted it more and played some great league for the win. Hats off.

Had one of the best origin days in years. Sat in the down under bar in chiang Mia, northern Thailand, with about one hundred other Aussies.  All stod for the national anthem and sang along,,then the sledging began.  We may have lost the game, but I won the sledging completion.  Brilliant time with new friends

if they buy that streaker a pair of shorts and give him a guernsey he'd make the team for sure. He made more yards than the rest of NSW combined. :D
Work out how far he got before he was tackled....no slouch.

I've never understood the obsession with Mitchell Pearce especially this year. Reynolds/Sutton are the form combination, Reynolds could have been selected on his goal kicking alone. Qld have a great team at present, but they are also responsible for Kivin and Swanee so I guess it's not perfect after all.

LOL .. I knew you'd respond :)

You've been a bit quiet since the game mate so I had to go find your quote  ;D

"Listen here, after Wednesday night we will send your sorry arsed team made up of Kiwis, Tongans, Fijians and New South Welshmen back to you in a body bag. All except that dirty dog Kunt Slater. We'll hang his head from the bridge."

Or words to that effect  ;D

I should probably stop now otherwise you won't pick it up for me   :D

Yeah he has been very good to deal with so it would be great to get him into the sport ... as long as he doesn't decide to keep the bike  ;D

And feel free to take it for a blast Ted and then tell me how good it is  ;D
