No, they're a long way from Grand Final standard yet, I'll just wait 'til they're playing 100% before I buy my tickets. I do have tickets for one of the Rugby Championships games heading my way from a mate who knows a bloke who once played for Randwick whose wife once rooted Campo. ;) Not sure which game yet. It looks like Dingo Deans has coached his last Wallaby game, Jake White is tipped to take over. Plus....that little wanker O'Connor was sacked by the Rebels this morning.

Good that O'Connor has got the flick....he is that far up himself....and thinks he's bigger than the game....they just need to flick him from the Wobbilies now....Euan MacKenzie should be the new coach.....Those Rabbit's are on fire.

Uncle Firko, from my vantage point at Homebush I can say with confidence that the All Blacks would have put 60 plus on the Wobblies. The Wobblies were exposed out wide in the second half but the lions didn't have the natural instinct to attack out wide like the Blacks do.
It was really sad to see the lack of passion in the gold jersey,I hope that they now appoint an Aussie coach this time around.

Brand O'Conner worth nothing now. I hope for Auzie phsyc they appoint an Auzie coach, even though jake white is the best option.

Interesting that everyone thinks Dingo should go. Even the players blamed themselves...not the coach.
The way they fell off tackles late in the game tells me they are not up to speed, too lazy to get out of their own way and not keen to help each other out. Maybe they need to watch how the Maroons do it.
I agree that they need to have an Aussie coach for their own prides sake.

I agree with everyone, It'd time for Ewan McKenzie to take the helm, as good a coach Jake White is, he isn't an Aussie. The foreign coach experiment just plain didn't work, it's time for an Aussie to bring back the pride in the gold jersey. I bet the All Blacks are glad that Graeme Henry beat Dingo out for the job all those years ago. Deans might be a nice fella but he's way to conservative a coach for the amount of talent he has at hand. I honestly believe that we have the rugby playing talent to at least equal the All-Blacks and beat every other team in the world. Picking players out of their natural position is my pet hate (in both codes)  and has been a giant pin in the wallaby backline balloon since Deans took over. Folau should be fullback to take advantage of his kicking and ability to break the first line of defence. If big Ewan gets the gig, I'd say bring Quade Cooper back to play fly half running off Genia which would reunite arguably the best half combination in the game. For some reason  Ewan knows how to get the best out of Quade. I'd play Jesse Mogg at left wing and Digby Ione on the other. The really big problem though is at the breakdown. We really miss Pocock at #7 he's the only flanker within as cooee of Cheatin' Richie McCaw. Hooper and Gill are good young talents but they're not hardened enough yet (they haven't learned to cheat without being spotted by the ref). You know that things were desperate for them to bring old Georgie Smith back from Japan. He's as old as I am, Jeez I think I may have even played against him ::).  Once we can win breakdown ball or defend our own in the breakdown and get the ball back to properly placed backs we'd be a far better side.

Even though the forwards were lacklustre on Saturday night, I reckon we've got a good base line up. They were out played by an inspired pack who were on a mission. There wasn't a better forward pack in the world on Saturday night. The passion that they, and the rest of the Lions played with is just what it takes to win games. My old coach at Belmont Shore, Kiwi Bruce Henderson used to tell us to imagine that the opposition had murdered our mothers and raped our sisters and were now out to do the same to our wives and girlfriends. We had to hate them that much >:(.. I think Robbie Deans is too much a peace, love and a firm handshake after the game kind of bloke. Old Bruce used to get right up us if he saw any of us smiling and joking with opposition players on the field immediately after a loss. He demanded us to be so shitty we'd literally punch holes in the shed wall. Passion is what wins games.

You told me that $onny Bill woud never play for the All Blacks too Mikey and he turned out to be the best player in the team. Never say never my friend, Benji's a good player and seeing that he originally played rugby he'll adapt back easily ;)
