My recollection is that it did work, or at least showed considerable promise, & got banned cos somebody was planning/threatening to build a 125 triple (I kid you not!) to beat it, so 125 multis were banned from MX to preclude costs escalating to exhorbitant levels

Never mind the twin (I thought they had a prototype parallel twin) I'd settle for one of these:



That's code for "Large Japanese factories being beaten by small Italian factories"

As opposed to large european factories (Husqvarna and Maico) being beaten by small Japanese factory (Suzuki)  8)

Yes if the bike had soft suspension or you are 7 feet tall  ;D ;D One would need a step ladder to get on board....forget about starting it on the track!

I rode John Hansens [ QLD] 82/125 [ Paul Rooney ] Husky and while it was a bit peaky it  handled very very well.
Just think about going around a corner and it had already done it.
My 81/125 KTM Mx [ water cooled ] had heaps of power every where but was more suited to speedway .
 Pain full/hard work in the tight stuff but you could slide it forever. ;D
