The Eruo 125 in late seventies and early eighties were always on my lust list the TM brand with alloy tank looked so trick.

Husky 125 as lovely as they are just plain slow
I would assume something got lost in translation with the rear linkage name!

Hey Lozza,
What's the deal with the Gilera twin? Did it work?

Pro Link, the name implies that the bike has a Professional linkage system not unlike what the Pro riders might use.

Full Floater, gives the impression that the bike will simply float across the bumps with ease, and from all reports this seems to be the case.

I’m guessing though that the Sticky System was a marketing failure

Either one way or the other worked so good they barred it immediately or was a complete shitter. Floats would be just like the speedway Amal's etc no big deal. He's one I been secretly working on. Tandem twins are the ultimate engine.

Now that's a cool project. Would make a nice dirt track engine too I would expect...

Easy to get 70+HP from the Type 256 engine, I don't think they would like dirt track to much, dry clutch 'n all. That's not my project I just came across it googling some images  ;D. Barking mad crazy especialy since they built 2 for desert racing I would imagine.

Hey Lozza,
What's the deal with the Gilera twin? Did it work?

If my memory serves me correctly, when Gaston Rahier was riding for one of the Italian manufacturers after his Suz days they developed a 125 twin for him. I've never seen a pic of the bike before but I presume it was this bike (or similar). My recollection is that it did work, or at least showed considerable promise, & got banned cos somebody was planning/threatening to build a 125 triple (I kid you not!) to beat it, so 125 multis were banned from MX to preclude costs escalating to exhorbitant levels
