Yeah, the States are VERY cheap. I do have a hosting package with LunarPages for the retro dirtbike site, which I must check into sometime as I don't know if those guys are still using it. But originally I set OzVMX up with a local place as they had the sort of things I needed. And yes they are now too expensive. But I've gone with a place here in Canberra, their hosting package seems reasonable enough for what I get. Still about twice the cost of the US options, but they are nearby if I need some hands on help, which I often do as I am no tech wiz. This $1500 gets me the migration to new host, software upgrade, database repair, facelift, and 5 years prepaid hosting. Seems passable for the money.

Hi Graeme
Donation sent on behalf of our newsletter Scooter News. Always a great read on this forum and if we can upload photos easily we will be sure to put some on from the Viper Vintage MX, VMX, or vinduros we go to around Victoria.  Maybe we could even attach a pdf of our newsletters???
Cheers
Steve

$900, getting closer! Thanks again to all. And especially you guys from Scooter News (!!??). Yes, if it goes to plan you should be able to upload images, PDFs and Word docs.

And once again, a huge thank you to all who have donated. We now have $1320, which is almost there. All we need is another $180 to reach target!!! I think we are close enough that I'll let the hosting team know I want to go ahead and start on the job.

Remember, you can donate via Paypal using the email address gmc99 at bigpond.com

or by direct deposit to this Westpac bank account:
