did it work well I'll be, :o dumb dumb did it with out crashing the site (but needed 3 forum members to do it)  ;D thanks all.

right down to business, here we have what was saved from a scrap yard unfortuneatley could not salvage much :'( will post the restoration (rebirth)

fabrication of the chambers (thanks for the specs Freaky) I fusion (oxy) tact welded then me mate tig (GTAW)welded

complete engine rebuild, wheels all bearings, seals replaced and and everything else that was not upto scratch.

I would like to think so but will see how we go for time as we are doing the ASA, Morgan rounds plus work I have had the last 2 weeks off but was 12hr x 6 day weeks before.
I would love to see the rat! well done, great resto  8)
yep 95% done 95% to go just finishing all the small stuff then will get back to wiring it up and then start it  :o and hope like hell  ;)

Here is some of the history of the Pre68 so far-
Baz got it off some guys that rescued it from a scrap metal yard (was sporting English wheels but removed before Baz took posession,
I got it from Baz at RCB
Ronny Parker swung for Phil Franklin on it in the scrambles (in its T500 trim)
when we were working on  it we found that the chair has been on 4 to 5 bikes and has had a few suspension mods and looks as if it pre date suspension, the suspension on it now is the flexo torque from a 1964 Mini.
it is now sporting a 1967 Suzuki T250 frame and engine, the engine is now out to 350 with carbs to match.
We have a name trail and are trying to source contact numbers and hope this will lead us to 1 or more of the builders and of course who the Pilots and Co Pilots where..........

Tim will the 250 twin be strong enough to used, power wise.
