Well, I won't have an old bike to race but will be there on the YZ125 for sure. If anyone is interested, there's a practice day at the track this Saturday from 9 AM. I gotta say that running the long track at Canberra is FUN - down the pit straight absolutely WFO and then into the uphill sweeper... It just don't get any betterer than that I reckon.

The old King's n Queen's, great track and great club, if you can get there do it it.
A good start to the year for all greater Syd region Dirttrackers.

thank you I have walked the track with Allan McNiece a few years ago,
I just wasn't sure of the length or if it had changed any recently,

Pretty much the same but gee they prep it well these days. Always so good to ride on. And plenty of classic classes too, even prize money. Very cool. Hope they get a big roll up for it.

Yeah, me too. And it'll be twistnshout's first serious go at dirt track too! The mighty RM300 is looking the goods, he's taking it out on Saturday so we'll see how it goes with the right tyres on board.

I notice Paul Caslick has shown interest, it'd be pretty cool if he rode. He sure went well at Taree.

G day Snowy,  I am still deciding on this one, got a new 465 that I am keen to ride but the trip home from canberra is a killer.
Spoke to Herb a couple of days ago and doubt if he will be there.

Snowy, the TS/TM won't be ready in time to debut at this one, but should be good to go for the ACT club DT series this year.  Its scrubbed up ok - not looks wise, but internals all were good, just new top end, oil pump, cables, levers and some lighter wheels.  Still one heavy mutha tho.

I do know my modern RM likes this track, so looking forward to my first dirt track race at this gig - as gnarly as the 35s and Pro Opens classes are gonna be.....

Mind you, having deserted the mx track over the hill, they go and modify it so its a good bit more old bike/rider friendly....d'oh!!!
