G'day viewers it's been a while. I've bought a new light weight battery Shorie  I think it's called had to make a battery box up now it's getting close to working out the wiring. Do I need a regulater or a rectifier if I'm not running lights ? Jimson

J If your charging the battery from the engine , you will need to rectify the AC current to DC and then  regulate the DC input charge to said battery.  Using total loss ignition? turf the bloody lot ;) Cheers.

I may not agree with what you have to say, but I'll defend to the death your right to say it.

Jimson, dont use std seperate rectifier,or regulator, get solid state combined rec/reg,think white & yellow is your 2 charging wires from stator into rec/reg,(could be a pink too if it's early motor),cb250t/n is a good one to use,2 phase,2yellows in,red/white is battery charge out, black,or probably greens earth from memory  ::),cheers  :P

G'day viewers I had to make a new battery box. As it  now comes from the side of hannibal not under the seat. I found a old steel dyson display stand and took to it with a grinder drill and pop rivat gun also some black paint. Not to bad the main thing is it fits. jimson

You don't look like you're having any fun at all there... :)

G'day Mick yes I  went to Victoria over the long weekend. The event is called Chopped it's pretty big supposed to be pre 64 but Hannibal slipped in without a problem.
As you know the gear shift was a bit shitty & that failed but apart from that was very cool
Riding Hannibal is like sitting on a tractor lol I need to adjust the brakes maybe new cables
It's still a work in progress but loving the feel of the old girl. She feels better to ride than my DT1 lol
Thanks for your help a while back without your work Hannibal would still be just a thought in my head with all the other ones that don't go anywhere. Jimson
