Yeah Steve, you missed A GOOD ONE.........and my old mate, Peter Baker, did a FANTASTIC job commentating the meeting too...The atmosphere was great all weekend....... ;D
Gregg McLean and I had some great battles throughout the weekend........and many more to come, I hope... ;D

Here he is making some ADJUSTMENTS to Col Evan's old Matcho/Metisse, with Mrs Purple looking on..... :)

A HUGE THANK YOU TO ALL THE RIDERS FRIENDS AND FAMILIES THAT SUPPORTED THE 2013 CLASSIC TITLES LAST WEEKEND AT THE WOODLANDS SPEEDWAY AT TEMORA, IN MY OPINION I'VE NEVER MET SUCH A FRIENDLY ATMOSPHERE AT A RACE MEETING AS I DID LAST WEEKEND, WITH I THINK ABOUT 131 RIDERS INVOLVED "EVERYBODY" HAD ATLEAST 130 GOOD FRIENDS AROUND THEM, PLUS SOME AWESOME RACING IN MOST OF THE CLASSES SURE DID KEEP THE SPECTATORS ON THERE FEET.......... HATS OFF TO ALL MY NEW FRIENDS, AND I HOPE TO SEE YOU "ALL" BACK AT WOODLANDS CIRCUIT REAL SOON  : REGARDS ASH

You and your club did a fantastic job of running the event. 198 races in two days even with a lunch break both days! The event ran like clockwork. To all the flaggies, start line officials, lap scorers and canteen workers well done you did you club proud.

Also a mention to the hard working meeting officials. Lyndel and Daryl Butler, The Morgan Bros, Tim Sanford and Langy. Well done on yet another great title meeting.

Preparing for the start of the Pre '75 Over 263cc Final...........after a slow start, I had a good dice for 6th place with No 7, Ivan Hoey on his 650 Yamaha Methanol Burner.......

Last lap I took him on the right hander before this corner, however, he pipped me on the finish line for 6th place. Those 650s have plenty of GRUNT in a straight line....... :P
