Awesome meeting and great result for Bayliss. Sammy the yank was fast and impressive..
Dave Armstrong was happy with some good rides in the Legends.

Backed young Herf last year and this as well, though didn't  reckon on the other Troy. !!

i think sammy did well with a stock standard engine the only thing done to the engine was oil and filter change he had to push through the corners a bit more to make up on being down on power to all the other top runners great day night well done troy , it was a 26 hr day for me , sammy is such a good guy great to work with .hope he comes back next year

I hope he comes back, too . Along with the other US lads and Masa, the whole thing ratcheted up a few notches, great stuff and as I said elswhere, a shot in the arm for Aussie Dirt Track.

Not to detract from Troy as said, Sammy was on a stock engined bike with a GYTR exhaust,
If not for that back end loose, my money would have still been on him, his corner entry speeds and tighter lines were the best !
Great work by CRs huge day

Just watched the live stream and that was some serious racing, pissed off I couldn't get there.
Sammy was awesome and I hope you can get both him and Masa back out here again Graeme.
TB deserved his win but lets do a HP comparo.
Great to see Wato & Crumpy more on the pace compared to last year, class never goes away.
How did Darcy pull up?

All of the Aussie guys had trick engines including Crumpy and Watto and Sammy would be 50kg ringing wet, he got good starts and you don't do that on a slow bike.
Bayliss won on ability. As I said last week he's riding awesome at the moment..

Not all of Sammy's starts were good, the TV coverage will show that, but he held the tightest lines from the highest corner entry speed, again the TV footage will show that,
Remember that is the first time Sammy has ridden on Oil or Wets,

He rode awesome Graeme no doubt about that. He had the best line around the last turn and excellent corner speed through there..
I'm just impressed with Bayliss, truly a legend.

You're onto it Foss.. Hard to believe no one else rated him, he was a close second last year after beating Kirkness in a couple of heats and he was second again this year after not racing since the 2013 TBC 12 months ago!
