Slammin Sammy Halbert, man Australia is in for a treat the little bloke is FAST. Fortunate enough to see him in Ashland, Ohio and at the Sacremento Mile last year, he is currently on top of his game winning the 450 and 750 races at Ashland and put up a great ride in Sac to finish 3rd (first XR home). Great family, met his dad at Ashland, real grass-roots racers.

Practise over the last 2 days was interesting to say the least.
Some riders looked right at home while others seemed to struggle a little at first.
By late in the arvo there were some really hot laps being done by the stars which were as good to watch as a 10 lap race!
The evo bikes did not take too long to get a bit of confidence on the track with everyone running at pretty much the same pace, should be a great day out.

If at first you don't succeed, lower your standards.

Bayliss was pushing hard on monday, right on the pace on KTM this year testing a lot of different tyres and exhausts.

Sounds like the novelty part of it has worn off and the boy's are getting serious.
Awesome event but outa the elder brigade my money's on Gally, if he gets involved in an event more than once he's serious.
Larest news is Darcy Ward is entered. :o

Gally's picked up some pace but Bayliss & Kirkness are still quicker and you've still got Herfoss and a few others to come yet. Dan Stauffer and Caso were right on the pace too.  Everyone is so serious this time round..

It's Masa's skills on the tar that impresses me and a few other casual observers,
Wednesday the 15th will be worth a trip to Barleigh Ranch / MX Central for a Masa / Paul Caslick Flattrack School / Media event.
Maybe try to get the guys onto Cameron Park GoKart as well.

That flattrack school sounds great with Halbert and Masa there. Will there be any media coverage to check out or video/photos up on Youtube? Look forward to hearing how Masa is shaping up!

I expect their will be lots of media there since they will all be invited to attend, major TV networks as well as all the Moto magazines and websites, I was at berangaroo when Pastrana jumped over a Helicopter, they are going to love this,
A Film Masa doing his tricks, as I'm not sure he will be able to do his tricks on Old Bars oil,
B Cover lots of Australia's rising stars
C Have their opportunity to film some of the Worlds best riders tearing up Barleigh Ranch on some Flattrack Twins,
D Get to ride the Twins themselves as publicity for next years planned meetings.
E I am hoping to have several Special Guests there as well,

D is going to be particularly interesting as big twins take very large testicles to ride properly
For some unknown reason they just wheels pin or wheel stand .
