Freaky, i think i got roly healy's contacts from you? i have a ktm495 coming, delivered to their yard in calif on 24th June. Still waiting for it to arrive, hope the ship is'nt lost in the triangle or sumthing. But so far its been dead easy to deal with them. I was quoted $750 for shipping?? mmm maybe i'm getting fleeced
i posted the same thing last time, same details everyone has just i get a lot of PM about it paul :O)
what ship is it on ? the yanderra has docked so you will see that container this week , find out the name of the next ship from them ex LA and you can track it online, up to when it docks, then add 10 days.
the price is $600 shipping but the rest is the variation on customs, GST etc etc see my post above.
Sorry Paul what i got you cant get here, so i cant give you a price here. i have owned it for a while but with no title meant it potentially could be seized or held, so we have spent a while doing the logistics, actually was selling it through a museum in the states for a while cause it was looking too risky to ship, but alas all has worked out in the wash , as it was a NOS museum piece, factory flattrack race bike we where able to get some competiton/museum paperwork that meant no title was required, problem then was it came on the radar as a collectors item and was heading down the histrorical paperwork - extra duty tax etc, anyhow in the end some great US guys did some dancing and were able to get an exception and we did a bit of a work around and basically now she in QLD in storage as we speak. i flying up to sydney this week to pick up the crate and drive it home to SA, so we can have some time bonding. IM keen to flat track race her again but based on the price these things are fetching stock, not race level with history and the price guys are raping for on parts ATM im not so sure i can risk it, maybe just static display it, or promo day stuff. lets wait and see
