Quote of the day
« on: September 27, 2012, 09:33:40 am »
Some people will tell you that slow is good – but I’m here to tell you that fast is better.  I’ve always believed this, in spite of the trouble it’s caused me.  Being shot out of a cannon will always be better than being squeezed out of a tube.  That is why God made fast motorcycles, Bubba…

It's always said that "slow and steady wins the race" but that wont get the holeshot-ever!!
I love watching Vids of sidecarcross, especially when the 5 sec board goes up and everyone gets into position for the start. You can see the tension mount.

On sunday..

Kiwi trials newbie: "Does everyone chew up the inside of their boots?"

Famous trials riding Kiwi actor: "I prefer a sandwich."

A few weeks ago...

Famous trials riding Kiwi actor is proudly showing off his Go-pro camera mounting on his helmet...

TFT: "What for Peter? The coroner?" (one of my better one-liners)...

I liked that one too CanAm, until Tony Abbott used it...  ;D

The older generation are more valuable than any of the younger generation:
We have silver in our hair.
We have gold in our teeth.
We have stones in our kidneys.
We have titanium in our joints
and plenty of Natural Gas
Best is in the West !!

Ladies, if a man says he will fix it, he will.

There is no need to remind him every 6 months about it.

" if i was to arrange a threesome for your birthday, which of my freinds would you pick to join in ? "

I refer back to my all time favourite writer Hunter.S. Thompson and the quote that is often wrongly claimed by others to be theirs.......

Life should not be a journey to the grave with the intention of arriving safely in a pretty and well preserved body, but rather to skid in broadside
in a cloud of smoke, thoroughly used up, totally worn out, and loudly proclaiming-"Wow, what a ride"!

Hells Angels: The Strange and Terrible Saga of Motorcycle Gangs (1967)

Like Firko I love the Hunter S but Oscar Wilde is my Fav, Oscar had more wit and the ability to take the piss so well that they jailed him for it.
