There is no such thing as:
Good  Cheap and fast- you can only ever get two of three
If it good and fast its not cheap
fast and cheap is not good
and good and cheap its not fast

There are two rules for success: (1.) Don't tell all you know.

Treat each day as your last; one day it will be.

Had amnesia once - maybe twice

I want to die like my uncle, peacefully in his sleep, not screaming and terrified, like his passengers

If you’re being chased by a police dog; try not to go through a tunnel, then on to a little seesaw, then jump through a hoop of fire. They’re trained for that.

Everyday I find one more name to add to the list of people who piss me off.

You know the world is going crazy when the best rapper is a white guy, the best golfer is a black guy, the tallest guy in the NBA is Chinese, the Swiss hold the America's Cup, France is accusing the U.S. of arrogance, Germany doesn't want to go to war, and the three most powerful men in America are named 'Bush', 'Dick', and 'Colon'.

If you you're unhappy and you want to turn your life around, try playing a Country and Western record backwards.

You'll get your job back.
Your dog will come back to life and....
your best friend will stop rooting your missus.

I refer back to my all time favourite writer Hunter.S. Thompson and the quote that is often wrongly claimed by others to be theirs.......

Life should not be a journey to the grave with the intention of arriving safely in a pretty and well preserved body, but rather to skid in broadside
in a cloud of smoke, thoroughly used up, totally worn out, and loudly proclaiming-"Wow, what a ride"!
                                                                                                               Hunter.S.Thompson
Hells Angels: The Strange and Terrible Saga of Motorcycle Gangs (1967)

Having been off work for the past two months, and with a few more to come before returning to work, following my latest motorcyling Indiscretion which added another broken collar bone, a busted shoulder, and two breaks to my right leg which will eventually need a knee replacement to fix, I think I am on my way to fulfilling this quote!!

CJ
Why do things the easy way, when with a bit of effort you can really make it difficult for yourself!!

Totally agree CJ, I went through 3 months off work this year but we really do need to pace ourselves.
I'm hoping to slide on in when I'm in my 80's, not my 50's.
Good luck with the recovery.

A couple of quotes my ole boss used to say.

Love many, trust few, always paddle your own canoe. [great words of wisdom]

He always said he wanted to die at the age of ninety, shot by a gelous husband.
