The way I interpret this means you have options such as the 35mm forks from a TS250ERN which look quite similar in appearance.  "tis what I have fitted to mine

having done a few Trials events this year,
Trials is very uncomplicated by comparison to VMX and the only real anal folk seem to be some of the old school brigade and even then its still very simple.
so i'd reckon if the bike/forks are not 100% perfect to the year but still fit into the broad guideline of "post classic" or "twinshock" (same thing) then like Doc has done, it'd be fine.

I was pretty sure that the early RM forks were 36mm and not 35mm which is what the Honda forks were?

Swiss..only the '75 RM125M/S and '76 RM125A had the 35mm forks

I actually picked up some ts250 forks that'll do the job. Have collected most of the bits I need, just need a couple of spare hours in the shed to get stuck into it. Finished by christmas is the plan.

Looking really good... wheels look "fast".  However, not sure which Christmas you are referring to, as that was June 2013 :-).  Looking forward to seeing the progress.
