I actually picked up some ts250 forks that'll do the job. Have collected most of the bits I need, just need a couple of spare hours in the shed to get stuck into it. Finished by christmas is the plan.
Looking really good... wheels look "fast".  However, not sure which Christmas you are referring to, as that was June 2013 :-).  Looking forward to seeing the progress.

had some unforseen issues which shelved bikes altogether for a while. Maybe Christmas 2015?

The young 'n has been "helping" me with some of this one, since I showed him how to re-spoke wheels, he can't walk past the bike now without spinning them. It does look better  ;D

Vandy, there was at least 4 RL250's but 2 of them spent their time on the enduro loop and never made it to the trials section ;D

You've got good eyes Doc  :)

As if i would cut something off the PE! It'd be like Samson getting a haircut.

I was actually dropping some building materials at the tip and someone had thrown out some office chair frames which were a good solid gauge and had some different bends in them. I grabbed a couple and they worked a treat for additional case protection.
