sorry for the delay here goes.
didnt have an allen key with me to take the cover off, but is a 4 helix with a metal male and a plastic female. just bolted up in the same holes with 2x 4/5mm bolts and nuts where the little coverused to mount into.

also think the female outside was cut down a little as it didnt need all the thread as it stuck out.

The peice wont fit on the barrell Ross, the rest is pretty much the same, looked at the proto type for the clutch actuator this morning....looks good, he's making the helix for the cover aswell as a bolt in and it will run a XS650 male push lever with the 1T3 p/n....cheap as chips and with the longer arm should have a clutch pull light as a feather, I'm hoping to have the first one to try this afternoon. It's a head fark but will be the ducks guts when finished.

firstly - bugga!!

Secondly - good news John.  Does the XS push lever fit straight on or need mods?  Or were the mods to the cover side which you are incorporating anyway?

Have my DG swingarm in the queue - giving the beastie a birthday whilst it is so long between rides.  Also going to incoporate a more modern enclosed chain guide with the swingarm so won't have any dramas there also - make the most of the opportunity.

i think you have to just change the inzee pipe fitting to the outzee fitting at the spigot.

I'll translate that for you Ross    "The YZB pipe spigot goes over the outside of the flange, whereas the MXB spigot goes on the inside"....it's Friday and it's hot.....dont know what Freaky's excuse is though....South Australian? ;D
