Nice YZ
« on: May 24, 2012, 03:22:33 pm »
I've posted this photo of someone's YZ360A from this morning's Marks Swapmeet for no other reason than my liking it. This is the basic look I'm heading for with my upcoming Hindall RT2MX....without the black wheels.

So Mark, you are building a RT1 into YZ, what is the differents between each frames, other than being chrome-moly.

Geoff - that pipe nearly looks like it could fit the 360B as well?  The works pipe went right instead of left out of the motor?

Where did you get that idea Dave? If you read what I wrote you'd see the words Hindall RT2MX, no mention of an RT1. The bike I'm building has a nickel plated 4130 chro-mo Harry Hindall frame and an RT2MX engine and fitted with YZA tank and bodywork. The RT1 frame and that of the YZA are totally different but you already knew that Dave ;). While we're here, I seem to remember a recent post where you told one and all that you weren't going to change your forum name any more. You wouldn't cop so much grief from punters if you didn't make such statements and then renege on them. Jusy my 2 bobs worth of advice. ;)

Ross if they went right how did that lose the tuned length in the pipe.  Would make sense to go that way as i hate the way it comes across the head, and also burn though so many sets of pants as its mostly left hand tunrs on most tracks.  BUt i wondered about going right but where to you put the lenght
