I love a good rumour... it seems more than likely that Bubba Stewart [the highway patrolmans best friend] will be on the open market tomorrow. Seems Bubba  and JGR Yamaha [or any other Yamaha for that matter] just can't get on.

So the question is where will he turn up?

He has confirmed that he will be riding the outdoors but for who [or is that whom]?

Kawasaki - no wouldn't have him back. But then again Villopoto is down and out? 10% chance. ???

Yamaha: no already tried that twice. Ain't gonna happen  >:(

KTM: DeCoster doesn't work with PrimaDonnas.  :D

Suzuki: Possible. He was headed there before JGR, but the Factory team folded and when to Yoshi. A possibility? But their stocks are down at present.  :o

Honda: Trey Canard won't be back too soon. But would they tolerate Bubbas history? My guess no!!  :(

22 Motorsports: Now this would be similar to when Allan Moffatt drove for Peter Brocks team. Could it happen?

Chad needs a rider for the outdoors and Barcia wants to win the Lites [or whatever they call it now?] before moving up. Chad could put him [Bubba] on a performance contract and pay him a set amount per point - that might just light a fire under the 'World's Fastest Motocrosser'. Would he? Could he? I don't know but it would be bloody good fun to watch...

What do you reckon?

Or should Bubba just join the Highway Patrol and give motocross the flick forever?

Is it way too small? A bit of work with the heat gun or hot water could soften it enough to fit if it's close. Maybe some rubber friendly grease as well.

He could always turn it into some kind of reality TV show. I dunno something along the lines of Jersey Shore meets Bubba at Unadilla? They could turn up at each event in a highway patrol car - sirens blaring and tits out?

That would suit him down to the ground...  ;D

Such talent gone to waste thou I never thought of him as a fluid rider. It's a well worn path to self destruction expecting drug arrest some time shortly.
Maybe Honda could kick the tin and see him on the 22 bike stranger shit has happen.

I reckon Suzuki.
But he's loose as they come, so anything is possible - predicting what Bubba will do next (on the bike or off it) is like an exercise in futility.
The good thing about telling the truth is that you don't have to remember what you said.

I don't give a shit, he doesn't deserve to ride for anyone......and it gives Metty a better chance in the outdoors.

i reckon Chad would be interested in his ability,
but not his attitude.
until Bubsy boy can figure out WHY he's doing it, i think he'll continue on the same path.
Can he weld? ;D
are you sure you're ready to let him loose in your workshop Geoff? :D

I like Bubba, but I don't think he has been exploited.  He could have been on top of the world since Ricky retired, but chose to be a "star".  He lost the eye of the tiger at the wrong time (just as he hit his peak).  It's downhill from here, both physically and monetarily.  Nobody, but the man in the mirror to blame.
