obviously the smick one with the bling is race ready!!!
Was it? Who mentioned race ready? Is this "Original" one race ready then? Are we comparing apples with apples here or are we mixing up our fruit? I checked the ad again and I can't see where it says it's race ready? In fact it says quite the opposite to me (eg been sitting in the shed for 10 years).
who hasn't bought a race ready bike as the add says n spent another 2-3k on it to actually get around the track
I haven't. Either they are race ready or not ... and it's not hard to tell the difference if you check them out. Sure I've spent money getting a bike onto the track but I've always known that before I purchased it and the price would have been set accordingly.
its all a lotto draw but a supposed orig is better than a flogged dead horse...
A lotto draw?? Without doubt an original bike is better than a flogged dead horse, no arguament from me on that score, but surely you would agree that a bike that has been sitting in a shed for 10 years, according to the ad, would require significant expenditure to get it race ready? I have built one of these Elsinores before (and many other race bikes as well) so I know what it takes to get one race ready. Not sure about anyone else but I could easily see myself spending between $1 - $2K on this "original" gem to make it race ready resulting in a $4 - $5k bike based on the high price it sold for.
Thats a lot for a CR125M3 in today's economy ... in my humble opinion of course
