Can somone tell me if the ignition systems on the PE 250 / 400 T and X models are interchangable ?

They often spit the cdi's mine did one not long to long ago kept spitting plugs and changed a cdi spot on no trouble since.

Until this, I have only ever heard of one being confirmed faulty.

Don't know they are a sealed unit shouldn't be affected by any climate etc.
I suppose they are more than 30 years old now so if your still running the original it has done a fair job I had to send one I had spare to a mate as he had a faulty one.
