I’m grateful for the original PE 250 that I found and chose to restore and over the past 9 months have been exactly that. Today I started the last chapter of the resto – the engine! Up until now it’s been smooth sailing, but seriously previous owner, you must have shares in Loctite! This was one bitch to dismantle! FYI, if you’re wondering why it wouldn’t start after you put a new plug and fuel into it – the crank seal was as spat out as gum on a foot path! Sorry for the long winded guff into my frustrations - but does anyone know about sourcing primary drive tab washers for a 1981 PE 250?
