Any Queenslanders making the trip? If so any room for a bike or three? If I can get bikes there and fly down I will make the effort.

Hi Brad,
Slawsey has made contact and suggested he was coming to race I am not sure how he is going to get his bikes down but it would be worth asking him.
Also I think Col Metcher is coming but unsure on his bikes either

Make the effort you wont be disappointed

Cheers

Guys,
You can send your bikes in advance we have warehouse storage just 9 kms from the track as well as storage at the track in our shipping containers or even my place I have enough room for 10 or so.

I can pick bikes from removalists, couriers etc nothing is too hard

Cheers
Fatboy

just a dumb question has anyone come up with the idea of you getting your bikes to a central area or willing comrade in melbourne and sticking say 3 in a ute of or stuff a heap them into a van and do a few trips to the secure area at the track and then do it in reverse a good job for an enterprising vmx'r , there must be enought contacts in this forum to have a pool of willing helpers and they get to see the racing and hang with the guys in the process and get to ride the high seas a few times in the week , ahhh me  arties ,  ;)

Brad, I'm booked to go with the ute and the two bikes and all the other crap I'm taking down, you know, like the fan!!  ;D so i will not have room for a bike although I would be happy to take my trailer down (that I was not taking) if you wanted to pay for the extra to get it over the creek on the boat. Give me a call if you think the proposal has legs..

Cheers SLAWESY

Is it way too small? A bit of work with the heat gun or hot water could soften it enough to fit if it's close. Maybe some rubber friendly grease as well.

Nice one ray.. get your bikes down there..  fun track,,, fast 125 will maybe match big bore lap times... no long open sections.. dunno what happens when they rip it... spose it ruts up a bit & gets grippy... fast as U want but safe & gentle if you packed your boobs ;) top forum for race action.. see the whole track as a spectator .. no robbie .. you have to open your eyes... see?? double fist from me .. and from him ... Thats not a 2 headed joke.. 'm sorry daddy.. :-[

I had a sneak prac on 500 2 stroke & got good play from the monster but recon I could have been rounding myself on 125..... 125's is what I do  but. locals wil be the threat.. go easy robbie 'dicky' knee....
...plenty of width for your outfit wasp.... big berms outside... great surface for most conditions. smooth down rampy jumps with a wide open step uppy... way do-able on anything evo plus.... I'd have a crack on 74 elsi 125 but you may wanna walk before you launch wasp. . Whopping airy finishline tale top . I prcticed waving .... almost looped out.. nailed it good alot though... good times... can see all the track as a spectator.. mostly .. any blind spots dont last for long
