Just spoke to Col, the supp regs are in at MA awaiting approval hopefully they will be out next week. With the track there will be a few going out on Tuesday to plan the design.

Keep Smiling :)

Sup regs now with the Commissioners, I'm promised they'll be on the MA web-site by the end of the week.
We laid out a preliminary track yesterday and the venue looks great.
Just found out Willowbank has a big drag meeting on the same weekend so accommodation is going to be scarce. Caping are is right alongside the track, but those wishing motel acc. better move. Nearest towns are Boona, Beaudesert, Harrisville. Canungra is a bit further.Let us know if you are having difficulty.

What happened to a pre 85 sidecar support class? l thought they were to be included? My own opinion but to do 3 race's and call yourself an Australian champ bit of a joke realy l mean come on.. Wouldn't it be better to do 5 race's and drop your worst result, l feel sorry for the guy who travels from all over to have a DNF or a bad race and lose the chance of doing ok.

Both MA and the BMCC event committee decided that Pre78 was for all classes.Walter advises that some Pre85 sidecars can be made to be comply Pre75 without too much modification, but I am no expert on that.
I would like to run more races, but there is not the time to do that.Every CMX Nats i've been to in the last 15 years has had a3 round event. If you're willing to call all the Champions over all those years, "jokes" you're a braver man that me Popeye.

How long were the race's John? 20-30 mins plus a lap?  What is 3 race's these day's, some track's 20 min some l guess a little more. Being a long weekend at this event l don't see how there would not be enough time Col to run more race's, with the split haven't they just dpopped 12 race's from the program Evo 125-250-500-pre 85 sidecars, where did that time end up?

One of the factors with the split was to re-introduce full age catagories as was the case before Evo and Pre78 classes were introduced. This adds probably 12 races.
We are guaranteeing Pre 60 ( the featured class) a start in an endeavour to re-vitalise that class.
There is a Ladies support class with a view to that becoming a MA recognised class by next year.
A lot of riders in favour of the split saw it as an opportunity to go back to a two day event.
Friday will be scrutineering, sign on, track inspection etc.
Saturday siting laps and racing
Sunday racing
Monday trail riding at the facility, travel, sight seeing or whatever.
