Its just common sence if a 250 is over size naturally it runs in the open class, but not aloud to run in the 250 class. If you think that you can get away running a 250 in the open class then the steward on the day isn`t doing his job.

Hi Ekka-- you can ride your Pre75 bike in two classes ( for the price of one )
1 250cc age race
2 250cc open (all ages )
If your later bike is Evo, you have the same situation in the Tas event
So mate this wanker is looking at the wider picture.

In CMX there is no "Open" capacity class. The term "All Powers"
is used when all capacities are to run together.
The big bore class is "263cc+" so a 250 can't run in this class.
Yes there will be rider age specific classes in each capacity in Pre75, plus open rider age classes in each capacity of Pre75.
Note:- as stated in Sup-regs 40 max starters in any class, so get those entries in early ( same as Crystal Brook )

125 scratch race means 125 only (nothing over that standard size.)
250 scratch race means  only 250
263 and over scratch race.
allpowers means all capacity machines

To run 'up' a class make sure you have the correct number plate on.
I reckon all sidecars in Qld should enter regardless-the "fans" wont know any different-and only the wankers will protest after paying MA for that right-and we will put on some good racing and come home smiling.
After the two lap final 'debacale' of Connondale a couple of years back-it's all irrrelevant in any case.

If the grid is not filled with open class bikes Im sure the promoters will allow a 250 to race , In  2011 at SA there where 250 s in the open classes . There is also the age class , so with one pre 75 250 there are a possible 4 races . pre 75 250, pre75 open , age pre 75 250 , age pre 75 open .

Not to my knowledge.    There should have only been in there bikes capacity in the capacity class ( unless someone pulled a swifty and snuck a bike in on the line)
The only approved mix was in Age capacity where you could ride whatever bike capacity you liked or era prior bike ( like a pre70 etc).  Anyone who did in a capacity only class was not authorised to do so and should have been excluded at the line, i would assume this years CMX will follow that same ruling.

The only other mix was Evo which was any era bike that fitted the class ( ie from any period so long as it met the 3 rules) but they where still run in there capacity classifications.

What if we stop every lap and sign in-do we still have to pay for a transponder?
