The good thing about telling the truth is that you don't have to remember what you said.

Who`s Dean Burt?
While on the subject i wonder if he's riding pre 85 because of the YZ465 forks in his bike or pre 80?
How strict are the scrutineers going to be??

Deans RM400 will have the RM400 forks on it and be perfectly legal for Pre 80. I hope the scrutineering is as strict as can be.

Mr VMX is running Pre75, Pre80, Pre85 & Pre90. We felt that this fits better with the theme of revisiting Mr Motocross when you look back at the original series there is sort of four periods which are roughly reflected these eras.

It also differentiates this from everyday VMX along with the 30 plus age group. Mr VMX is not trying to change the status quo or rewrite the conventions of VMX. It is a bit like the original Mr Motocross series itself. It had its own formula and its own style and Mr VMX is the same.

It is just something different. Pre78s will race with ‘78s & ‘79s. Pre85 will race with the later Evo models just as they did in the day 8). Will it be good? We think so and it is something new and will be interesting to see. I can not wait!!! ;D

This Meeting is a brilliant initiative! It is the talk of the VMX community down here in Sydney and from what I hear all are looking forward to it, many names from the past are coming out of the woodwork to either ride or watch. Having only discovered VMX 18 months ago, the format of this meeting strikes me as the ideal end of year bash to bring us all together. The organizing committee are also putting in a huge effort to put on a great show on a well prepared VMX friendly track. We couldn't ask for more. Montynut, is there a plan to have an introduction to the Legends of the sport, similar to CD8? I can't wait! With regards to the classes, I ride a 250 and I could ask why isn't there a 250 class. I don't think that's the point though. As Montynut says, the Mr MX formula was unique and it was certainly successful, the closer we stick to that formula, the more great memories we'll all have flood back. After a year of 3&4 lap sprint races, this is a great opportunity to test the endurance of man & machine. I recon, no matter what we are riding, there are going to be a few of us who are going to be struggling to hold on to the thing in Moto 3&4.
