I reckon it's a cool bike. As much as our sport needs the proper concourse resto bikes, they're often an extremely expensive undertaking....just ask Ted. Bike's like Marcs little RM and Yamaico's KLX/DT 400 el Cheapo show that you don't have to double mortgage to build a competitive and interesting bike. That ugly step sister swingarm makes Marcs bike even more interesting. I'd much rather see those eBay orphan parts go into making a complete bike than to keep getting regurgitated on the eBay merry-go-round.
