Not exactly vmx but it is a dt1

twin leader front and looks like a disk on the rear

Iain, I know this isn't exactly a DT1/RT1 but it's a close cousin. It's a stock framed MX360 Yamaha modified for dirt track. It gives a pretty good idea what can be done to a DT1 or similar on a budget without having to outlay for a proper dirt tracker frame. The steering rake has been brought in to 25 degrees (or so), Honda CBX wheels (they're really light), and a bit of fibreglass bodywork. We're planning to build a TM250 using a similar engineering philosophy. A DT1 would be just as easy.

What under the fairing? I see a standard Yammy 7inch front brake, a late '70's RD250/400 tank,. one carby, and it looks like a high pipe on the right. Maybe an AT/CT1 rear hub.

Mx250 Im told it is a dt 250 motor in there if you look at the top rear eng mount it looks like a dt with the rib up it ,not sure if its reed or not .
