We are at Springfield, raining bad, the mile is out. We all are hoping the other 3 events will go. Steve Nace, the promoter, has taken a big hit on this one, the GNC Pro races were cancelled as well (previous 3 nights)they are trying to pull the air-fence as I type. Really a beautiful complex (mainly horses of course/how often have you guys wished you could ride on the trotting track), will take some pics when rain stops.

The whole thing is out, postponed, to be run in 3 weeks. We may do a 2-day meet in Ohio on the w'end to test the bike. We have a great mate there and love the place so we can work on it some more. It was a big storm with a tornado warning, no reports as yet of damage. We may get to do that mile again yet, plenty of disappointed faces here though. Seeya.

Marion is only a couple of hours from Wauseon - I'll let Ted and Patsy know and they might come for a run down there.

That's a bugger about the rain off Pete, sounds like Nepean.
At least it'll give you a chance get the new engine fully dialled in before the ultimate test.
I'm still jealous, prick.

We called into Indianapolis to look at the Speedway, that's Davy Crockett's shirt from QLD, thanks mate.
2-seaters were out on track, they run over the underpass, scared the heck out of us, big place.

We ended up catching up with Jean and Dave (AMA officials we have become mates with), that's Jean on bike. Rain forcast for w'end at Marion, so Dave organized a private practice session in Norwalk, Ohio.

Track was a good pea-gravel Half-Mile, tried our TT set-up hence the brake. Turn in was a bit abrupt probably be better with the Goodyear on it. good to test it all though, changed things quite a bit.

We have the 44mm carb back on and tuned, funny we ended up going richer than Aust. jetting with it and leaner on the 38. As Norris would say "whatever works", thanks for the "A" stickers Justin Burdus, all cool with the AMA to run them. Colleen glamoring it up back in Daves shop (shed).

Went horseshoeing with Jean and Dave, had a great day, Dave introed me as Aust. horseshoe champ. Had a great day, Marion apparently ran, doesn't matter, we will get back to Springfield later.
