Been hard to put this up and am a week late with update. We have had a great time out on the gulf and to Key West, currently in Orlando recovering from Disney. Happy to be running 2nd in the 500 Vintage Championship and 3rd in the Over 50 gig. Really have had a great bike, fast and reliable thanks to friends from home (Len Norris). Wanted to be in a better position but it is what it is. Mangled finger is healing and hopefully be good to go in Waco, Texas.

This Colleen with Shanaya Texter. I seen her win at Sac in 2013, she can ride, currently on a Kawi. Cool to follow her on FB in the GNC races. Her brother currently on the new Yam.

Goughy's old bike was bought by Chad Rall, first met him in 2011 (he rides vintage as well), son of famous Hall of Famer Ronnie.

Had a quick chat with the mechanic that prepped the new Yamaha twin, debuted at Savannah. They have high hopes and given all the fast Kawi's require a 3K stroker crank, they figure there will be a cost advantage.

Give you an idea how cold it was in Georgia, by the time we raced at the Short Track in Florida we were wearing T-shirts. Thanks to Nancy and Bill loaning blankets for our drive across Texas in the ice and snow.

Good on ya Mick, we retuning to Texas soon. You have covered some ground. If you go through Alabama get to Battleship park and see the USS Alabama in dry-dock.

You are right about fun Mick, you have to see the Hotel in Nashville, 57 acres under roof (dome) it is mind-blowing. Ask anyone there, they will direct you to it (it was the biggest in the world, now second). We are off to see the Blue Angles today at an air show, should be cool.

Great to follow your adventures, keep it coming. A regular forum poster referred to USA major events as "plastic", looks the real deal to me.
